Introducing Hotheads Hair Extensions

A new product has hit the hair industry – Hotheads Hair Extensions are trending, and Patrick Taleb Salon is the first hair salon in Weston to provide this revolutionizing service to you.

When it comes to hair extensions, they are not all created equal. Unlike other hair extensions that can be damaging and time-consuming, Hotheads are human hair, adhesive extensions that are applied without tools or heat. Plus, you can fully transform your hair in less than one hour.

These new hair extensions now available at Patrick Taleb Salon can be used to add length, create volume, add highlights or lowlights, correct a bad haircut or create complex updos.

To help you learn more about Hotheads, we’ve answered some frequently asked questions straight from our clients:

  • How long do the extensions last?

The hair lasts a total of about 6-8 months. Depending on how fast your hair grows, you’ll need to readjust them at the salon every 8-10 weeks. This helps to avoid frizzing and tangling.

  • Can I reuse them?

Yes. It is recommended to re-use the hair up to 3 times.

  • Can you color it?

There are 20 colors available that can be blended to create hundreds of shades. If a color does not match your hair exactly, it can be colored to a darker shade, but the hair cannot go lighter. Shades of blonde, brown, black and red are available.

  • Can you iron, curl or blow dry the hair?

Yes. Treat the extensions as you would your natural hair – use thermal protection and don’t overdo it. When applying heat, avoid the adhesive tabs at your roots. This can make the adhesive tacky.

  • What products can be used on the hair?

Avoid any products containing alcohol, oil or ethanol. Also, avoid applying heavy conditioners on the scalp or adhesive tabs – apply from mid shaft to ends. Nourishing products, like Kerastase, maintain the integrity of the hair, and help preserve the extensions to last longer.

  • Can roots be retouched while the extensions are in?

Yes, as long there is enough growth for the color not to touch the adhesive tabs.

  • How do I remove them?

Do not try to remove the extensions yourself. This should be done in the salon to avoid any breakage or damage. It is a quick and easy process.
